As the oldest church in Victoria you will discover a lot of history and connection with the pioneers of this great city of Melbourne.

But you will also discover that St James’ is more than just an important historical building. We are a thriving parish church with both traditional and contemporary services, covering a wide age-range of people, and a variety of activities.

What unifies us in our diversity is our great desire to know God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and to make him known to those around about us in West Melbourne, the City of Melbourne, and Docklands.
