8th August: Co-Workers with the Truth (The Third Epistle of John)

15th August: Royal Overseas League 100th Anniversary
The congregation will be joined by members of the Royal Overseas League to celebrate 100 years of service to the Commonwealth. The service will be BCP Holy Communion (1662), and we will even sing “God Save the Queen”! All welcome.

22nd August – 19th September: The Sermon on the Plain (Luke 6:17-49)
Over five weeks we will unpack this key sermon of Jesus and its implications.

Conference Centre
St James’ Court is an on-site Conference Centre (indoor & outdoor) that can be rented out for Wedding Receptions, Community & Private Functions, and Conferences. Contact the Office for more details.

Museum
A museum in the Old Cathedral houses many historical documents, vessels, plans and photographs of great interest. It is opened on request. A History of St James’ Old Cathedral can be seen on video in the Museum.

Marriage and Baptismal Registers
From 1837 the Registers are in the hands of the Government Statistician. Those Registers dating from 1853 to the present day are in the custody of the Old Cathedral and searches may be made upon payment of a fee. Enquiries to the Office.
